Title
Authorizing a transfer of appropriations between the Saint Paul Public Library Agency and the Office of Technology and Communications in the amount of $5,237 to reflect a change in billing practices with Minnesota IT Services (MNIT).
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Public Library Agency has been paying MNIT directly for public internet service; and
WHEREAS, the Office of Technology and Communications handles all other MNIT invoices within the City of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, consolidating MNIT invoices in the Office of Technology and Communications will result in administrative efficiency improvements; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $5,237 in excess of those anticipated in the 2021 budget as indicated in the attachment; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for transfer of appropriation funds of $5,237 in the Library Special Projects Fund; Now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor that $5,237 is available for transfer of appropriation in the Library Special Projects Fund, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
