Waiving the 45-day notice requirement to issue a Wine On Sale and Malt On Sale (Strong) License to Taste of Nepal LLC d/b/a Taste of Nepal (License ID #20210001199) for the premises located at 1415 Rice Street.

WHEREAS, Taste of Nepal LLC d/b/a Taste of Nepal (License ID #20210001199) applied for a Wine On Sale and Malt On Sale (Strong) License for the premises located at 1415 Rice Street in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the licensee requested a waiver of the 45-day notification waiting period for approval of the above-mentioned licenses; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections received a letter from North End Neighborhood Organization on September 14, 2021 in support of a waiver of the 45-day notice requirement and approval of the Wine On Sale and Malt On Sale (Strong) License; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections received no objections to the waiver of the 45-day notice requirement and approval of the Wine On Sale and Malt On Sale (Strong) License; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the application is in order and there are no grounds for denial of a waiver of the 45-day notice requirement and approval of the license; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, a waiver of the 45-day notice requirement is granted and the Wine On Sale and Malt On Sale (Strong) License are hereby approved and issued to Taste of Nepal LLC d/b/a Taste of Nepal (License ID #20210001199) for the premises located at 1415 Rice Street in Saint Paul.
