Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department for $42,750 for the reimbursement from the Minnesota Firefighter Initiative to provide training for firefighters.
Body
WHEREAS, the Fire Department will be reimbursed by the Minnesota Firefighter Initiative $42,750 to provide various training that includes Aware and Emotional Trauma training, Cardiac training and Cancer Awareness training for firefighters, and
WHEREAS, firefighter training is a governmental purpose; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the reimbursement;
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $42,750 in excess of those estimated in the 2021 budget; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council that $42,750 is available for appropriation in the 2021 budget, and said budget, as heretofore adopted by the Council, is hereby amended as outlined in the attached financial analysis.
