Title

Appealing a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy With Deficiencies by Jamie Rattanapamonsook, Thai Street Market, at 1665 RICE STREET.

Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, August 17, 2021, teleconference between 1:30 p.m.and 3:30 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  In May, we mentioned to the fire inspector that we were working on replacing our make up air.  She wrote that she ordered us to replace it and has followed up threatening consequences if it's not done by Aug. 17.  We paid the down payment in June.  The make up air is back ordered.  Secondly, we provided the inspector with the cleaning/inspection report she requested, but she continues to list it on the deficiency notice.

Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  July 30, 2021

Inspector/Key Staff:  Laura Huseby

Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Appellant was provided only Items 5 & 6 on the deficiency list because the other items do not pertain to her business.  When filing an appeal, she was provided the entire document.
