WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Terry Hopkins, Americold LLC, to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 236 and 240 CHESTER STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation is to grant the appeal pertaining to storage height on the conditions that: 1) at no point will storage be increased by volume or height beyond the warehouse's current use; 2) the storage may not change from its current use as temperature controlled frozen food storage; 3) the orders pertaining to storage height will be re-evaluated in all cases where ownership of the facility transfers; and 4) Americold must provide the Department of Safety and Inspections with all Loss Prevention Reports within 30 days of receipt; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
