Amending the spending and financing plans for the 2011 Bike, Pedestrian & Traffic Safety Improvement Program to reflect additional Trunk Highway financing for the ADA Improvements at the intersections of Snelling & Marshall; and West 7th Street, Lexington Parkway & Montreal Avenue.
Body
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works is in process of entering into a Cooperative Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Transportation for traffic signal system revisions, accessible pedestrian signal installation, and ADA pedestrian ramp improvements at the intersection of Snelling Avenue and Marshall Avenue and the intersection of West Seventh Street, Lexington Parkway and Montreal Avenue, and
WHEREAS, this signal project will be constructed under the 2011 Bicycle, Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Program, and
WHEREAS, the MnDOT cost share for the agreement is $72,504 with the remaining cost of the project being funded with Capital Improvement Bonds under the 2011 Bicycle, Pedestrian and Traffic Safety Program; now
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $72,504.00 is available for appropriation in the 2011 Capital Improvement Budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvement Budgets, in the particulars as specified in the attached financial analysis.
