Purpose of Appeal
We are appealing 1 replacement window that will not comply w/egress policy.  Current dimensions will be short in openable height by 5".  Openable width and overall glazed area will be extended.  Please approve.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the appeal of Renewal by Andersen, on behalf of Julia Shepherd, to an Egress Window Non-Compliance Determination at 2009 VILLARD AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 5-inch variance on the openable height of one double hung replacement egress bedroom window measuring 19 inches high by 36 inches wide; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
