Appeal of James Schoffman to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 1012 ROSS AVENUE.
Purpose of Appeal
Driveway/Parking has always been in the same condition. Inspector claims it does not meet the new code. Appellant feels it should be grandfathered in as it has been the same from when it was built in 1900. This will be a hardship and burden of excessive cost to the owner. He has concerns that paving and water runoff will change the layout of the grade.

Legislative Hearing Resolution
WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of James Schoffman to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 1012 ROSS AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant the appeal on the driveway for now (could be written in the future), and grant an extension to August 1, 2011 for exterior painting; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
