Title
Amending the 2011 capital improvement financing and spending plans in the in the amount of $1,526,585 to allocate funding for capital maintenance projects to the appropriate departments.
Body
WHEREAS, the Citywide Capital Maintenance Program provides capital funding for the repair, replacement, renovation, remodeling and/or retrofitting of the structural parts and/or service system components of city buildings; and      
      
WHEREAS, the program has been funded annually since 1986; and      
            
WHEREAS, the City's public art ordinance (CF# 09-212) specifies that 1/2% of the total Citywide Capital Maintenance program be allocated to the maintenance of city-owned public art; and      
      
WHEREAS, the Capital Maintenance Project Selection Committee, comprised of city staff and members of the Long-Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee reviewed all of the maintenance project proposals, and made funding and policy recommendations to the full CIB Committee (see attached report); now      
      
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long-Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $1,526,585 is available for appropriation in the 2008, 2009 and 2011 Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, and are hereby further amended in the particulars as specified in the attached fiscal analysis form.
