Purpose of Appeal
Purchased home last year and it had new windows. The egress is not quite big enough. Windows are new. We could build a platform to code to make distance from floor to sill code.

Legislative Hearing Resolution
WHEREAS, in the matter of the appeal of Joe Palen to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 1505 OLD HUDSON ROAD; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal on the window and sill height and grant an extension for 90 days to come into compliance. The appellant must install a step full width (9-10" inch length, 11 inch depth) below the egress bedroom window; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
