Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to enter into an agreement with and provide indemnification for the City of Saint Paul, Board of Water Commissioners, for water supply service from the public water supply for the new Como Regional Park Pool.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Parks and Recreation Department, wishes to enter into the attached agreement to construct, install and maintain a private water main to serve Como Regional Park Pool at 1151 Como Avenue, in the City of Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the agreement wil require that the City grant a perpetual water main easement to Saint Paul Regional Water Services as well as hold the Board of Water Commissioners harmless from all claims that may arise from the existence or operation of the private water main; and
WHEREAS, such private water main is necessary to the orderly operation of Como Regional Park Pool; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that appropriate city authorities are hereby authorized to enter into the attached agreement with the Saint Paul Regional Water Services, which includes a promise of indemnification and a requirement to grant a perpetual water main easement.
