Appeal of Jason Oberhamer, Cities Home Rentals, to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 793 COOK AVENUE EAST.
Purpose of Appeal
Item #2 as it relates to Item #1 - in order for a bed to be placed in this legal bedroom, the bed must be partially on top of the trap door to the basement in order to not block access to the egress window. The bed could easily be moved off trap door in case of emergency.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the appeal of Jason Oberhamer, Cities Home Rentals, to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 793 COOK AVENUE EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal and require there be easy access to both the egress window and the utility trap door; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
