Legislative Hearing Staff Comments: *Compliance Recheck - 5/15/23. Found an illegal gravel driveway on the south side of the property with no curb cut and a gravel ramp to the street. Driveway leads to the rear of the lot which contains vehicles, trailers, skidsteer, forklift, temporary membrane structures, racks of marble slabs, other outside storage and debris. Also found driveway at the northeast corner of the property has been widened to the north with gravel for parking without approval. Photos taken. No site plan on file authorizing any storage on the property or additional parking. CN sent. RK

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Daniel & Cheryl Dobervich to a Correction Order at 1485 Winthrop Street North dated May 16, 2023, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to August 1, 2023 for removal of (non-commercial) vehicles and removal of exterior storage (items 3, 4, 7). Grant to October 1, 2023 for compliance with removal of heavy equipment, trailers, temporary membrane structures and their contents (items 3, 5, 6, and 7)  and compliance through zoning and/or Public Works' approval or termination of business for item 8. Grant to July 1, 2024 for items 1 and 2, all referencing the May 16, 2023 Correction Notice; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
