Date/Time of 1st LH:  Tuesday, July 11, 2023, teleconference between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Purpose of Appeal:  We are asking for appeal. The tenants on the first are moving out. We will do a complete rehab. Everything else has been completed.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Shai Leibovich and Carolyn Brown, Community Stabilization Project, to a Vacant Building Registration Notice at 646 Charles Avenue, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council change the property's vacant building status to Category 1 Vacant Building, waive the fee for 60 days to August 19, 2023 and if the Fire Certificate of Occupancy is reinstated before August 19, 2023, release the property from the Vacant Building Program; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
