Title

Establishing the rate of pay for the new classification Utility Trainee, in Employee Group 71, Grade 028.

Body

WHEREAS the Office of Human Resources conducted a job study for the classification of Utility Trainee; and

 

WHEREAS the results of the job study instruct that the rate of pay for the new classification of Utility Trainee be established at the rate set forth in employee group Tri-Council-Laborers, Employee Group 71, Grade 028; and

 

WHEREAS the results of the job study further indicate that rates for the new Grade 028 should be established as listed below in the chart; now therefore be it

 

RESOLVED pursuant to City Charter Sections 6.03.3(5) and 12.01, that the rate of pay for the Utility Trainee be established at the rate set forth in Employee Group 71 (Tri-Council-Laborers), Grade 028, consistent with the chart below. This classification and rate of pay to become effective on the first full pay period following passage and approval of this resolution.
