Title

First making finding on the appealed substantial abatement ordered for 939 CHARLES AVENUE in Council File RLH RR 21-68.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted RLH RR 22-68 on May 18, 2022 which granted additional 180 days to repair the structure, correct all of the deficiencies listed in the Order to Abate Nuisance Building and the Code Compliance Report at 939 Charles Avenue; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed this case on November 22, 2022 and December 13, 2022 to determine if the owner and/or responsible party abated the nuisance conditions and found these conditions and found these conditions 75% abated, based on a Building Inspection review; and

 

WHEREAS, December 15, 2022, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed updated work plan/scheduled and financing and found them acceptable; therefore, she recommends the Council continue the $5,000 performance deposit and grant an additional 180 days for completion of the rehabilitation; now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts the finding of the legislative hearing officer that the nuisance condition is granted an additional 180 days for rehabilitation.
