WHEREAS, Drew Nelson was appointed Interim Director of the Office of Technology and Communication for the City of Saint Paul effective August 27, 2022, while a search for a permanent director was conducted; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Jaime Wascalus to serve as the Director and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Office of Technology and Communication, effective November 9th, 2022; and

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the Mayor’s appointment, of Jaime Wascalus, to serve as the Director of the Office of Technology and Communication and Chief Information Officer, effective November 9, 2022.
