Authorizing the Police Department to enter into an amended Joint Powers Agreement with Ramsey County for the Violent Crime Enforcement Team.

WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul, Police Department (SPPD) has entered into the Joint Powers Agreement with Ramsey County for the Violent Crime Enforcement Team (02-17064-I) and has been amended to include extensions; and
WHEREAS, Ramsey County is amending the agreement once again for another one-year term, with four automatic one-year renewal terms; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Saint Paul City Council approves the amendment and authorizes the Saint Paul Police Department to implement the amended Joint Powers Agreement with Ramsey County.
