Authorizing the City to enter into a Cooperative Agreement with Ramsey County for the construction of pedestrian and bicycle improvements in conjunction with the Gold Line Bus Rapid Transit Project.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul and Ramsey County have collaboratively requested that certain local work be completed in conjunction with the Gold Line BRT project; and
WHEREAS, the local work includes construction of sidewalks and trails in locations near Gold Line BRT station areas intended to improve the safety and comfort of people accessing transit services; and
WHEREAS, the City has agreed to cost participate in the local work in the amount of $204,934; therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City Officials are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to enter into a cooperative agreement with Ramsey County, a copy of which is before Council and is made a part hereof; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper City Officials are authorized to execute the Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement.
