Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department in the amount of $1,600 for a grant received from the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce for health and wellness equipment for firefighters at Training.
Body
WHEREAS, the Fire Department applied for and received a grant of $1,600 from the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce for health and wellness equipment for firefighters; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this grant is purchase health and wellness equipment for firefighters; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for the grant received; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation of funds of $1,600 in excess of those estimated in the 2022 budget; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends the addition as specified in the attachment "Chamber of Commerce - Training Financial Analysis" be made to the 2022 budget; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts this grant of $1,600 from the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce and approves the changes to the 2022 budget.
