Ratifying the assessment for the 2019 Street Maintenance Service Program-Sealcoating Street and/or Alley. (File No. 195600, Assessment No. 195600)

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 21-405 accepted the Report of Completion for the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for the 2019 Street Maintenance Service Program-Sealcoating Street and/or Alley; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on May 5, 2021 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the 2019 Street Maintenance Service Program-Sealcoating Street and/or Alley; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the said assessment is hereby in all respects ratified; and be it further

 

RESOLVED, that the assessment be made payable in eight (8) equal installments; and be it finally

 

RESOLVED, the assessment amount for the property at 10 W. Delos St. (PIN # 08-28-22-22-0001) is reduced from $711.28 to $311.00 based on using an adjusted street frontage of 50 feet; and be it further finally

 

RESOLVED, the sealcoating assessments for the following properties are deleted because the streets abutting the properties were not included in the project:

In addition, the assessment for 123 King Street East (PIN # 08-28-22-24-0061) is reduced from $1,100.34 to $447.84 as the alley portion of the assessment is eliminated.
