Appointing City members to the board of directors of the Local Government Information Systems (LOGIS).

 

Body

WHEREAS, under a Joint and Cooperative Agreement ("Agreement") adopted by the City Council on August 13, 2008 (CF 08-866, attached hereto), the City of Saint Paul ("City") became a member organization of the non-profit government consortium, Local Government Information Systems ("LOGIS), which provided for the establishment, operation and maintenance of data processing facilities and management information systems by LOGIS for the use and benefit of the City in its ongoing administration of assessments and service charges for a variety of city services; and

 

WHEREAS, under the Agreement each LOGIS member organization is entitled to appoint one director and one alternate director as a voting member of the LOGIS Board of Directors ("Board"); and

 

WHEREAS, the City previously appointed the Director of the Office of Technology and Communications ("OTC") as the City's director, and the Information Systems Manager of OTC as the City's alternate director; and

 

WHEREAS, the City now desires to replace said individuals with new representatives to the Board; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby appoint the Director of the Office of Financial Services and the Real Estate and Assessments Manager, as the City's director and alternate director, respectively, to the LOGIS Board of Directors; and be if further

 

Resolved, that notice of the appointments made herein, including the mailing address of the persons appointed, be given to LOGIS in writing upon passage and approval of this Resolution.
