Establishing the rate of pay for the new classification of Emergency Medical Technician in Grade 028 of EG 03, Firefighters Local #21.
Body
WHEREAS, the Office of Human Resources determined that a new classification of Emergency Medical Technicain be established; and
WHEREAS, the results of a job study instruct that the rate of pay for the new classification of Emergency Medical Technicain be established at the rate set forth in Grade 028 of Employee Group 03, Firefighters Local #21 Salary Schedule; and
WHEREAS, the results of job study furhter instruct that rates for the new Grade 028, should be established as listed in the chart below, now therefore be it
RESOLVED, pursuant to City Charter Sections 6.03.3(5) and 12.01, that the rate of pay for the new classification of Emergency Medical Technician be established at the rate set forth in Grade 028, of EG 03, Firefighters Local #21, consistent with the chart below. This resolution shall take effect and be in force on the first pay period following its passage and approval.
