Title
Appeal of Brikti Ytbarek and Kidane Assefa to a Re-Inspection Fire Certificate of Occupancy With Deficiencies at 1068 SUMMIT AVENUE.

Date/Time of 1st LH:  May 12, 2015, 1:30 p.m.
Purpose of Appeal:  Given Deficiency List on 4/20/15 regarding "All parking spaces shall be paved with asphalt, concrete or durable dustless surfacing."  However we do not use this space for parking.  The tenants have ample parking in the front paved driveway and also on the street.  They were told in the past not to park in this area and we will reinforce this by way of better signage and barriers thus, no need (and we can't afford to pave it) to pave the area.  Thank you for your time.  (Also see e-mail dated 4/27/15 from appellants.)
Date of Order(s) Under Appeal:  April 20, 2015
Inspector/Key Staff:  Justin Elvestad
Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Voice mail received from Ytbarek on 4-30-15 that appellants preferred a hearing on May 12, 2015, and an attorney will appear on her behalf because she is unable to attend.  Minutes forthcoming.will be in Legistar prior to publication of agenda.
