Appeal of Harry "Dutch" Erkenbrack to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 429 ROBERT STREET SOUTH.

Purpose of Appeal: Inspection 9/29/2014 - item #4: building was a condemned property and inspected to code when purchased. The awnings in question were in current condition when we purchased the property. If they weren't up to code they should have been corrected prior to purchase and paid for by John Vitale. This would have affected the sale price. At this time, we don't have the resources to do this work. Give us a one month reprieve on our sales taxes and we can comply.

WHEREAS, in the matter of Appeal of Harry "Dutch" Erkenbrack to a Fire Inspection Correction Notice at 429 ROBERT STREET SOUTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant an extension until November 14, 2014 to remove, repair, or replace the awnings; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
