Reducing the demolition assessments ratified between February 1, 2006 and January 18, 2012.
Body
WHEREAS, demolition assessments ratified by the City Council between February 1, 2006 and January 18, 2012 included an overcharge for administrative fees, as shown in the attached Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services recommends reducing said assessments and refunding any overcharged principal and interest amounts the property owners have already paid; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the assessments are hereby reduced by the overcharge amounts plus interest, and the proper city officials are authorized and directed to refund said amounts to the property owners.
