Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Parks and Recreation in the amount of $719,488 for design and engineering services for the Como Streetcar Bridge L5853 Interpretive Site project.
Body
WHEREAS, the 2011 Capital Improvement Budget, as amended, includes a capital improvement project for the construction of the Como Streetcar Bridge L5853 Interpretive Site which will provide an attractive, interesting interpretive site for the historically designated bridge; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Transportation Enhancement Act (SAFTEA-LU) grant funding in the amount of $719,488 has been approved; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation, funds of $719,488 in excess of those estimated in the 2011 Capital Improvement Budget; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the proper city officials are hereby authorized to execute such agreements as may be necessary to accept and implement the project on behalf of the City and amend the 2011 CIB budget in the particulars as stated in the attached financial analysis.
