Authorizing the Fire Department to accept a donation of $25,000 from the Saint Paul Fire Foundation to purchase 13 LUCAS chest compression devices.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Foundation has offered to donate $25,000.00 to the Saint Paul Fire Department, and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Department would like to accept this donation from the Saint Paul Fire Foundation, and
WHEREAS, the public purpose of this donation is to purchase 13 LUCAS chest compression devices which will be used by the paramedics in providing emergency medical services, and
NOW THEREFORE IT BE RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the citizens of Saint Paul, accept this donation of $25,000.00 from the Saint Paul Fire Foundation and extend their sincere appreciation to this organization.
