Accepting the donation of drinks from Golden's Deli, at a value of no more than $200, for the Mayor's 2013 budget speech on August 13, 2012.
Body
WHEREAS, pursuant to law the Mayor shall submit recommended budgets to the City Council not later than thirty (30) days before the date requiring adoption of the proposed maximum tax levy in accordance with state law; and
WHEREAS, on August 13, 2012, Mayor Chris Coleman shall submit the 2013 recommended budget for the City and shall deliver a public speech discussing it; and
WHEREAS, Golden's Deli, located 275 East Fourth Street in Saint Paul, has offered to provide drinks for the Mayor's 2013 budget speech as a gift to the City; and
WHEREAS, drinks will be available to the participants and will enhance public participation in the budget process which will take place at the Farmer's Market; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts the donation of drinks provided by Golden's Deli valued at $200, and thank Golden's Deli for their generous gift.
