Purpose of Appeal
Failed Section 8 inspection (windows).  They have passed all prior years.  Section 8 requested I get fire inspection & then get application for appeal to get variance.  See all attachments.  Thank you.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Norm Linnell to a Correction Notice-Reinspection Complaint at 688 and 690 FAIRVIEW AVENUE NORTH, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal on the egress window in the 3rd floor west bedroom and grant an extension to December 31, 2012 to come into compliance; and grant a 4-inch variance on the openable height of the egress window in the 3rd floor east bedroom and 2nd floor east bedroom; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter grants the appeal.
