Amending RLH FCO 11-562, Appeal of Staci Vang to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 482 EARL STREET.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Staci Vang to a Fire Certificate of Occupancy Correction Notice at 482 EARL STREET, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, in concurrance with the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended denied the appeal on the basement ceiling height, garage electrical and window repair issues and grant an extension for 90 days to come into compliance; and grant a 30-day extension for the balance of the items; and
WHEREAS, City inspector went back for a re-inspection and took photos of the ceiling height and found the basement bedroom to be 6 feet 6 inches which is 78 inches over most of the ceiling; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer reviewed the photos and dimensions provided and recommends granting a variance on the ceiling height; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's amended recommendation in this matter.
