Appeal of Jackie Visnovec to a Correction Notice-Complaint Inspection at 1720 ASHLAND AVENUE.
 
Purpose of Appeal
All current upper level egress windows have a half inch shortage in height but have an excess of nine and a half inches in width.
The basement apartment window has a one inch shortage in width but has an excess of twelve inches in height.
These windows work extremely effectively if a person needed a quick exit.

Body
WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Jackie Visnovec to a Correction Notice-Complaint Inspection at 1720 ASHLAND AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 1-inch variance on the openable width of the egress window in the basement unit bedroom and a .5-inch variance on the openable height of the egress windows in all other units; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
